Parental Jealousy

nonesuchhouse's wife expecting a second baby, we're now the only parents from the Oktoberfest crew with only one child. And verdandiweaves is pregnant with baby 2.0 too. Congratulations to all involved; I'm also a bit jealous. Not of the ladeez, who have to go through the whole pregnancy and birth bit, not to mention breast feeding, but perhaps of their partners. I won't miss the sleep deprivation, I'm not sure I'd want the joys of adjudicating between fighting offspring, and we probably would fail to cope in many ways, but I'm sure the emotional satisfaction would make up for all that.
Mind you, when I mentioned this to A. earlier tonight, she offered us one of hers...
