Finally, some festival tickets
Aug. 7th, 2009 01:51 pmThe Fringe Festival has already started, yet this year we have hardly any tickets for shows yet. This is partly because we're about to go on holiday (we're packing today) so we've been concentrating on holiday arrangements.
The holiday should be most fun. This year we decided to head north and explore some of the Highlands region. We won't be deep in the mountains; in fact we'll be on the coast, sharing a cottage in Balintore with some friends. Hopefully the weather will be good enough to spend some time on the beach, as well as going for walks and exploring the area. We're taking a few games for the evenings and/or rainy days.
This week, with plans for the holiday mostly sorted, we did find time to book a couple of shows - in the main festival rather than the fringe. We'll be seeing the new dance by Michael Clark and a play by Brian Friel. So that's something to look forwarrd to when we get back.
