BBQ Sunday

Yesterday was our annual informal stair barbecue.  Our downstairs neighbours do the hard work, erecting a shelter in the back green, cooking all the food and providing dessert.  The rest of us just bring stuff to grill and drink, sit around and gossip.  It's a really good way to meet the neighbours and make the stair feel more homely.  This year we were joined by some folk for neighbouring stairs as well, so the community spirit spread a little wider.

If this growth continues, we'll end up with a street party!
