Catch 'em while they're young
Oct. 25th, 2009 09:08 pmThis afternoon we played another game of 1825 (that's one of the board game themed about buying shares in railway companies). The difference this time was that Jim and I played with our 11-year old sons. We all enjoyed it: The kids were beginning to flag at the end but the game finished just in time. We'd each played two-player games with them before, so they knew how to play. With four players, the game lasted maybe half an hour longer and there were longer gaps while other players had their turns; given that, the kids did pretty well.
