The series ended better than it began. As did the previous one. And in both cases things could have been greatly improved simply by switching round the order of a couple of episodes (eg Unicorn and Wasp would have made a great bit of light relief after a heavier story such as Midnight, which I'd have scheduled early)

And I hope you're not suggesting that overly-serious fans criticising the show is somehow something new, I've been doing it since 1963!
