Piano? Piano!

Another snippet of domestic trivia: Thanks to our friend Sue, we now have an electric keyboard in our music room and Michael seems very taken with it.  I bought a really basic primer for young children  and he's gradually workiing his way through the exercises.  They're really simple so even I can play them.  The keyboard's built-in rhythms are useful for encouraging Michael to keep time and he enjoys the challenge.

We'll see how this works out.  If he carries on enjoying it, we might try and organise some proper lessons in due course.  But we'll take it slowly and see what happens.
